They have an egg salad sub that I really like, and no place else in town has that.

If you're looking for a sub sandwich, this place is much better than the other fast food options like Subway. The food is much fresher and the price isn't significantly more.

True deli sandwiches. Worth the money.

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip and we regretted it. They took our order, staff was a bit rude. After waiting a few minutes, we were informed that they didn’t have the ingredients for one of our items and if we’d like to exchange it. No big deal I guess. When we finally get our food and head out, they’ve forgotten the cheese on one sandwich, no spinach on another, but the crowning achievement is that they forgot an entire sub in our order. If you’re lucky enough to get what you actually ordered, the food is quality.

I really like their sanwiches, for a special treat.Vegetarian sandwiches and salads, gluten free breads are available. Antibiotic free meats available, as well as cheese, in bulk.The owner, and staff are sweet, and very helpful.

They make a pretty good sandwich, but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. Over ten dollars for an average sized sandwich is something I will never do again. It wasn't THAT good. If money means nothing to you and you want a sandwich, by all means, try it out.Me, I'll be going someplace else. I'll never pay that much for nothing particularly special again.

This is the 3rd time in two months I have came to this location and ordered a Chicago Italians Beef. And still zero Giardiniera. They are trying to blame it on "corporate." However, it is franchise owned. I never have this problem with the Epps Bridge Location. Quit being cheap and buy some of Giardinera!

The sandwich was very tasty. I got my food timely. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable about their offerings. The price was reasonable. I will return.

This location seems to be somewhat mediocre in comparison to the Epps location. However, the staff happened to be very accommodating. The Destroyer (Italian Sub) was served on a roll that happened to be somewhat tough in texture. The Philly Cheese steak was actually superb. The atmosphere was somewhat bleak around 7-7:30 with there only being one other pickup customer.

Cheese steak sub was not cooked on site and they ran the steak through the toaster. My bread was so soggy and the meat tasted awful. I used to like this place. Corporate didnt even care when I complained about it. Overpriced for the shoddy sub. Shouldn't pay $10 for a sub that tastes like garbage.

Good sandwiches but almost no customer service. Ordered from the wrong location & demanded that I drive across town during my work day. This was both the last working the register & her manager. So I have made that drive to get my subs but doubt I will return to this east side location again.

Best subs hands down.

I never ate there but being from the NY/NJ area (aka Deli Central) I wanted to see what they had to offer. I walked down the counter and look at what they offered and did an "about-face." I'd choose it over Subway, but that saying nothing much.

Yummmm-My favorite sub shop! Always super clean, awesome staff, and very efficient! Love their catering as well! Ordered the party platter for a football tailgate and it was a total hit- would recommend Larry's East Side to anyone!!

The owner, or whoever this man calls himself, literally got in my face and accosted me about a water cup. Now, as an employee of a sandwich shop myself, I'm no stranger to people using water cups to get other beverages. I paid for the cup, as well, so I didn't think getting a sip of tea would cause such a HUGE scene. Boy, was I wrong! This man literally yelled at me about getting something other than water on my cup. I have never been treated as such. It felt discriminatory and I will NEVER return. He threatened to call the police and I stood there to call his bluff. Such a shame because I actually enjoyed going there every other time I went.

It's a great, reasonably priced, sub franchise. I've eaten at multiple Larry's and I have to say this is the best one I've been to.

Another day, another Larry’s. It’s my favorite sandwich chain, and I’m glad to see there is one in Athens that maintains the quality of service, food, and atmosphere. The guys who helped me out were fantastic, and I hope to return again! Not my favorite Larry’s, but that’s because the one back home is so fantastic.
